Game Time Payment Error

I quit WoW in October and am looking to renew my subscription, I proceeded to make a payment via paypal after everything was done I was referred back to the WoW account management screen and it said payment successful however upon attempt to login it says this account is out of pre-paid time. I went in and checked payment history and it says 1 month recurring pending 11/8/09 over 2 months ago although I attempted to renew today. I checked my paypal and no transaction had happened although in my pay list I saw the recurring subscription however no attempt to remove funds had been attempted as I have almost $900 in my paypal account and have paid instantly through paypal before. I then tried to make the payment again and upon returning to WoW account management it said unspecified error, although in my paylist it did create an addition allocation for funds to be withdrawn monthly although it did not attempt to remove any funds.(Looking at posts on here some people who have tried with a debit card got $39.99 withdrawn from their debit several times) I then tried to cancel subscription and try again however after I fill out the reason to cancel and go ahead and hit yes nothing happens. I am not the only one experiencing these issues I have seen several posts on both the multiple charges to cards/accounts issue and the issue of not being able to renew/upgrade or cancel a subscription.

When I go to cancel my account after I input my reason to cancel and hit Yes, Cancel it it just returns me to the starting cancel page although my account is still active and says this message again.

I tried to phone billing about this issue but after 87 minutes on hold I hung up. I have tried in different browsers, different computers and different IP addresses

I am not the only one experiencing issues like this I have seen several posts here in the customer service forums regarding these same issues, to me it seems there is a very large issue concerning payments, cancelations, and account upgrades. Aknowledgement of this issue and any information regarding the status of repairs would be aprreciated as it seems several people are having some serious issues with multiple payments, lack of ability to make payments or ability to cancel accounts.

Haylonidas, from what we've been able to find out it seems that there is a delay in Paypal transactions at the moment. We spoke with someone in the Billing department and they were able to confirm that they are going through, just slowly.

It is still under investigation though and if we receive additional information we will certainly pass it along. For now the recommendation is if you have initiated a payment simply leave it be, it should process.

Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner.
