Authenticator: Must Have or Trash?

So, viruses have been spreading more and more each year. You even have big wigs such as Google being hacked. However, viruses have been increasing in scope and sophistication every month to the point of leaving anti-virus vendors behind.

I see very often people tell others just not to be stupid and you don't need to buy an authenticator. Firefox + NoScript + Anti-viri and your supposedly good. At one time, I would have agreed that this would have been sufficient security. However, I feel that in this day in age... it's not.

So my question is, do you have an authenticator? If you don't, why not?

Are you saying that authenticators are going to be made mandatory...

or

that the core hound pup is so cute you must have one?

I'd get one for my ipod touch, but it seems like such a hassle to have to type it in every time you want to log in.

What if I misplace it for a day or two? I wouldnt be able to log in.

Authenticator
I never go without it
It's on my key chain

This is easily the strangest thread ever. We've got people who are too paranoid accusing people of not being paranoid enough with brainwashing by haiku thrown in for good measure.

You people scare me.
