go and read your own site and show me where it claims you cannot level past 60 with the BC 10 day trial or where it says you lose partial refer-a-friend benefits if you do use the BC trial.

How about right here?

Q u o t e:
While you can complete expansion quests and even pick up some powerful new items, any characters you play during the trial can only advance up to one experience point below level 61.

Or here?

Q u o t e:
While adventuring with your linked friend or family member, you will each gain triple experience while partied up to level 60.

We have 2 of our accounts linked and were getting ready to purchase the BC expansion on the one without. Since we signed up for the 10 day BC trial we are not getting any bonus XP or 10% rep bonuses on the referred account and the referred account cannot even level to 61. What is the purposed of a trial if you cannot try the content?

Before a mod or a blue destroys this post like you do every other negative post I have ever put into these forums go and read your own site and show me where it claims you cannot level past 60 with the BC 10 day trial or where it says you lose partial refer-a-friend benefits if you do use the BC trial.

Please before you delete the post prove me wrong, I DARE YOU! but you can't so you will just delete me post before the general public sees how much of scam most of these offers are.

If your posts have been deleted, then it is likely because your posting tone is unnecessarily combatitive and trolling. I am not in the habit of deleting posts unless necessary, fortunately. I accept your dare:

The Burning Crusade Trial FAQ

Q u o t e:

What content do I have access to during the 10-day free trial?

You can start a new draenei or blood elf character and explore their all-new starting areas. You can also take a high level (58+) pre-existing character through the Dark Portal and get your first glimpse of Outland! While you can complete expansion quests and even pick up some powerful new items, any characters you play during the trial can only advance up to one experience point below level 61.

Recruit A Friend FAQ

Q u o t e:
While adventuring with your linked friend or family member, you will each gain triple experience while partied up to level 60.

Q u o t e:
What in-game benefits will linked accounts receive?

* Recruit and veteran characters can summon one another to each other's locations across the globe.
* While adventuring with your linked friend or family member, you will each gain triple experience while partied up to level 60.
* For every two levels recruit characters earn, one "grantable" level is gained. Recruit characters may then grant these levels to lower level veteran characters.

I am sorry if you misunderstood or were disappointed by the results of your attempt to enjoy the Burning Crusade trial, but there's nothing resembling a 'scam' about it =/.

I admit I am 100% wrong about the BC trial and yes I am upset, a game with millions of players should be able to support their customers a tad faster than 5 days for a GM ticket or a recorded voice telling you to call back later. We still cannot gain the xp or rep with as I just posted on lower level toons than 60.

That is a different matter, and hopefully I can help you get to the bottom of the issue. Can you provide the name and realm of each character that was in the party at the time, and attempting to gain Recruit A Friend experience?

Can you also report where you were, and what creatures you were slaying at the time that you noticed that you did not seem to be gaining the bonus experience?

As the others have stated, you should begin receiving the appropriate Recruit A Friend experience for both characters once the lower level character ascends to within four levels of the higher level character.

I understand how confusing the RAF rules can be, and I'm truly sorry if this was frustrating at all.

I have deleted all the negativity and want to thank everyone that helped. I do apologize for anything said out of line but it is just so frustrating trying to get an answer and THANK YOU, I found the error it was indeed in the difference between the levels and the fact that the toons are counted the level you are and not the distance between the levels.

Please Blue just kill this thread of misery and let it die. Thanks.

It will fade into the depths on its own, not to worry.

Thank you for calming down a bit so we could discuss the matter and figure things out. I'm sorry that you were ever frustrated though, and I hope that you and your friend continue to enjoy World of Warcraft for a long time to come!
