Inactive account hacked: Bravo blizz

You've managed to allow keyloggers to hack inactive accounts, merge them onto battle.net accounts and make it impossible for the original owner to get back on to the account. I think the first part of that is the most impressive.

Just because an account is inactive does not mean that you need to be any less diligent when it comes to computer security, Aszolus. If you acquired a keylogger or if your registered e-mail address was compromised, it's entirely possible that your World of Warcraft account could become compromised as well. That being said, we'll do everything we can to restore access to the account holder as soon as we are able to verify the account holder's identity. Saying that it is "impossible" for the original account holder to get back on the account is a fallacy.
