RaF problem with guild invite?

I have a confirmed linked account to this one, it's on the same Battle.net account, and for some reason I can't invite a recruit to the veteran's guild where I have my own guild bank and what not.

On the veteran's account, I do the command to guild invite and everything looks normal... on the recruit's account it still looks normal with the pop-up identifying the person inviting you with an option to accept or decline. I hit accept and it says "you don't have permission to do that". Then I try again from the veteran's account and it says "*Character Name* has already been invited to a guild." Not 'already in a guild', but 'already invited'.

There a bug I didn't see mentioned or is this a result of the recruit account not being upgraded full yet? It's been over 6 hours since finishing the upgrade. Plus, does that mean trial accounts don't get to join guilds? Any clarification would be helpful.

If the recruit is still in the trial phase of the account then characters will have certain social restrictions in place, Sixway. I believe that these restrictions would prevent a character on a trial account from belonging to a guild as well. If you give me the name and realm of the character you are trying to invite, I could check to see if that is the issue.

Q u o t e:
Thanks.

I've now created 2 characters on this new 2nd account, one's name is Facesplat and the other is Itsbrandt. Malygos (Alliance) is the realm. The same is happening to either, and I just invited a friend of mine to the guild and gave her a rank so that she could invite to the guild and she wasn't having luck inviting either of the 2 of them either.

If it is an issue that the account hasn't fully updated yet, do you know what the typical time-frame is after doing the digital upgrade for an account to 'finish upgrading'?

Ah yes! The digital upgrade.

As I said before there are a few minor restrictions (such as certain in-game chat privileges) in place when the digital version of World of Warcraft is purchased. These restrictions are to protect against fraud and will be removed once payment verification is fully complete. This may take up to 72 hours, depending on your financial institution.
