i have to say reading this thread on a blue tracker all i saw was you get pro-trolled and you walked right into it.

None of the players who were directly involved in that discussion were actually trolling, as far as I can tell, and I'd like to think that my detector is pretty fine-tuned at this point. They were all pretty seriously invested in their point of view. Regardless, you'll never get a true impression from a conversation by reading the relatively disembodied responses in a blue tracker. Vital context may be missing.
