More lag due to deleting WTF and Cache folder

I deleted my WTF folder along with my cache folder and now my graphics seem much higher(even though they are still on low like before) and everything is a lot more laggy then before. Any clue why this might be?

No, not really. Also, since you removed your WTF folder, you also removed the config.wtf file so all of your old settings would also be gone. The game will default to a resolution it knows will work, but it's not going to be what you want to keep most likely. You should change it in-game to whatever you run your desktop at.
