Howdy, First time posting on fourms usally i find what i need intsantly but i cant seem to find much infomation on "In-game Casino's" & "Spam". so heres my questions and i was wondering if a blue could clear this up.

Question one -

Well i was searching for information on Casinos & Spam i originally thought Casino "Spam" was a ban able offence, but there is a loophole? in this article they use fancy wording are are pretty much saying Casinos are completely legal & as long as they don't scam people and don't spam there message in trade they just use /y and send there message within the time so its not classed as spam you can get away with it? Is this correct?

First, please use a character with an appropriate name to post on the World of Warcraft forums in the future =). I would appreciate it if you switched to an appropriately named character should you create any further posts here as well.

We considered the matter quite carefully and paid rapt attention to our player's reactions to ultimately arrive at a conclusion regarding the current stance toward in-game casinos. There is no 'loophole' and casinos do not violate our policies; this assumes, of course, that there is no exploitation or advertising of any kind taking place.

Question two -

has anyone got a official link to the rules of "Spam" how long would it take to not be classed as spam?

//Thanks in advance i hope this loophole gets fixed if i'm correct!

There is no precise definition of what or what is not spam available, no. Such a precise guidelines would likely result in offenders skirting the boundaries of the policy, and we prefer to deal with potentially disruptive influences as they arise. Suffice to say that excessively repeated identical or similar message that have an adverse affect on other players or on overall communication may be considered spam.

If you encounter chat in-game which you feel may qualify, then you can report it to us using the in-game right-click Report Spam feature. You can access it by right-clicking the name of the offending character next to the line of dialogue that constitutes exploitative advertising or potential spam. This feature has the added benefit of ignoring every character on the reported character's account for the duration of your current play session, until you relog.

I hope that helps?
