Satchel of Helpful Goods question

No no, nothing about not awarded or lost.

I dusted off this toon, started leveling, figured I'd put my thump in the LFD interface and give it a spin.
Yay! Instance.

I clear, and I get the bag. On a level 64 character, it had an item level 62 blue in it. Starting dk quests gave item level 70 blues, and hellfire green quest rewards are in the 90 to 100 something ilvl range.

Did I bug? Did more instances, kept getting item level 62 blues. Or are they scaling off 'classic" wow item levels? (when TBC hit, there was that huge increase in item level and stats. I remember the whining of greens replacing epics.)

The following response was written by one of our new teammates. Because they are still in training and do not yet possess a forum account of their own, they shall be posting via proxy through me.

Ah, I’m sorry you’ve found the Satchel of Helpful Goods to be less than, well… helpful Darkwrench. If the item itself is less than optimal for your level and class, you can always sell or disenchant it, as a bit of an extra bonus for completing the random dungeon. That said, if you feel the rewards themselves could use a bit of a bump in power level (over 9000?) a post on the Suggestion forum would be the way to go.

Happy hunting and I’m glad you’re enjoying the new Looking for Dungeon tool!
