OT: Snow

Q u o t e:
Yeah. I'm far enough south (about 200 miles, to be specific) that I don't generally get most lake effect snow. However, when the storm system is pushing south ... we do.

Everything shut down in town, which almost never happens. Thankfully I already cleared remoting in to work with my boss, so I'll just stay wrapped up in a fleece and a wool blanket and enjoy my day.

Apparently where I am at we are supposed to get snow, which rarely happens. People freak out and the town will shut down because they are not prepared for it.

Anyways, carry on.

We don't know yet!

See my interview, earlier in this thread.

Well, it was one-sided. I think I smooshed him-her.

'Him', and he is redoubtable enough that I doubt squishing is amongst the available options.

Also, /purr.

I got sweaters from VS today :)

Also, are there any more/soon to be more trainies? Or is Deckling our only one for awhile?

Alas, my sagacity does not extend to future events. For now, we've a boon companion on deck for a forum voyage, and come what may, aye?

No snows though, please. I just got a rather persistent coating out of my fur.

Q u o t e:
Legit excuse to be late? I think so...

"Excuse"? That sounds like a "reason" to me.

Q u o t e:
*worried*

Me too =(. Perhaps he got into something or licked something off of his fur that wasn't meant to be licked?

Late last night I had a craving... couldn't kick it. So now, I'm eating my way thru a plate of Double Chocolate Chipotle brownies. Just enough heat to keep me eating bite, after bite...

Add a slight cranberry-jalapeno glaze to the batter or on top... kicks up the heat ever so slightly and adds a delightful tangyness to the chocolate.

Now, now. No need to get your post timers in a bunch. ;)

It's the same person. While I'm not in Austin at the moment, I can still be of some assistance. (Go me!)

Wait a tic! Syndri, are you back in Austin? or do you have a Tadpole? Or are you sharing Decky's?

We received news that feather bandits were nearby so I had to hide out for a second.

Don't worry, though. I'm safe.

By the way, Vrak, I meant to ask -

Did you move Suspect and I last night when I posted about the battleground issue? Or did the system automatically do so? (I ask, because my ticket didn't appear to have been touched - I closed it myself.) :)

If so, thankey, sir!
-Z

No I didn't, Zouche. By the time I read your post you had already returned and said everything was resolved.

I appreciate the sweatshirt offer, Dost, but I'm just fine with my own apparel. I'm proud of my guys for fighting their hearts out despite the adversity. I can't help but wonder how things would have gone differently had Colt played, though.

It was a good game, and I'm happy for you and all the other Alabama fans. :)
