[H] ICC Forge of Souls: Why so anti-caster?

Really wondering why FoS is so anti-caster. The trash is annoying because several of them silence and the giant skellies have spell reflect shields. Now I'd be cool with spell reflect shields if I could spell steel them but they are like a blanket silence cos you can not. WHERE is the anti-physical dps shield mobs??? Basically on trash physical dps classes can do 2/3 your dps output potential but are much better for the instance because of silences and the long up time of the spell reflect shields that are often up on both mobs at the same time (so you cant dps at all).

Furthermore Bronjahm (the first boss) does an attack called Magic's Bane that hits Casters from 10k to 15k every few seconds based upon how much mana they have. While there is no equivalent attack for melee. And good thing there isnt because Magic's bane hits far too frequently making caster dps a night mare to keep up (especially since the healer is having the same issue keeping themselves up). The attack is incredibly difficult to avoid by out ranging. The tank has to keep the boss against the wall and you have to be all the way against the other wall. Basically... it doesnt happen (outranging the attack). Lastly it hits so much harder on casters that if you happen to randomly get a group of casters the boss will wipe the group in the first few moments of the fight as the aoe damage from this attack is nearly unhealable. I say nearly because you might be lucky and have a healer that severly outgears the instance.

I know I may get flamed for posting about this heroic but I think its stupid how much harder it is for casters to deal damage in it and imbalanced how much damage we take from the first boss. All this for no apparent reason other than we have a large mana bar????

We do recognize this as an issue to an extent. I don't have any immediate plans for changes to Bronjahm to share with you at the moment, but we do plan on changing the Spell Reflect abilities of some of the creatures in Forge of Souls in an upcoming minor patch. We plan to implement a cast time on this ability, reduce the number of reflection charges it provides, and decrease its overall chance of reflecting spells.
