Ipod Touch Authenticator Crash

I'm sure this is pointless to ask here, but however I'm sitting on hold w/blizzard anyway that tells me due to high volume my question won't be answered for about an hour.

Anyway, I recieved a IPod Touch for xmas & decided to download the authenticator & linked it to my account. Then when my IPod updated it crashed every one of my apps installed (Not just me, found a lot of the same issues happening in various other apple forums) I wasnt able to open any apps at all after that. After that I was forced to do a restore which simply ended in the same result. 3 more restores later it now works perfectly however my Authenticator app no longer has the same serial number so the number it gives me is worthless.

Is there any way to fix this on here, or am I doomed to this horrible hold music & this voice repeatedly telling me how to contact a GM in game/PTR help/Paid char transfers.

Q u o t e:
Regardless of whether you've made a note of the serial number, the only way you'll regain access to your account is by talking to Billing.

While you can speak with a Billing representative to attempt proper verification over the phone to remove it, you can also e-mail in a copy of our Terms of Use form to request the authenticator be deactivated from your account. This method does require proof of identification be sent in as well, but snapping a shot with a digital camera or scanning an id has never been easier these days so you might find that to be an easy enough task :)
