Warsong civil war issue.

Have any of the GM's on Warsong said anything about the constant civil war on the server? It's painfully obvious that many of the players on that server are playing in the wrong region and start arguments when asked to please speak English, Warsong is a North American server right? Personally I will not write about this on my main due to the fact that I will get flamed in game for it. As a American player I get insulted every time I'm in a major city not from whispers but from Brazilians in trade chat playing the racist card. I ask for free transfers for any American player that wishes to get out of a realm that we were informed was a North American server and assumed the players there spoke English. What are we supposed to do pay $25 for each of our high level players to be transferred out, I find that unfair and wrong due to the fact that it is supposed to be a English server do to the fact it is local to North America and 90% of North Americans speak English and the other %10 don't play this game. It's in the terms of use that you are asked to chose the realm nearest your region. I'm not asking for all the Brazilians to be kicked off the server but that any player who wishes to get off a realm in which they cannot enjoy the full benefit of the game can then be transferred to a server in which they can. As a English speaking player I get kicked from groups and can't understand the majority of what is being said in raid or trade chat for that matter. When invited to a raid and they ask for the raid to get on Vent I shouldn't have to ask, "English or Port?". If these issues are valid enough to offer a Free transfer off the server then I don't understand what customer service is even here for. For all those doubting my point just go to the Warsong forum and look at the top threads and you will understand or better yet make a toon on Warsong either horde or alliance and you will see within minutes what my point is. And yes I know there are currently free transfers for Horde but this issues is both alliance and horde.

Q u o t e:
No I don't, I'm alliance. I figured GM's were part of customer service and I have opened a ticket and it takes about 1-2 weeks to service it and they tell me to go here so that is what I have done.

Game Masters are part of In-Game Support and we provide what customer service we can but we are simply not able to grant each and every request. Sometimes we have to give what advice we can based on the situation.

As for the "takes 1-2 weeks to receive a response from a petition", that is false. Looking into your recent petition history I show the following.

Petition opened 12/4 and closed by you after 24 minutes.
Petition opened 12/5 - addressed in 6 hours and 37 minutes - unfortunately it looks like the Game Master may have misunderstood your request and referred you to Billing. If you wish to request Free Character Moves you want to post in the Suggestion forum.
Petition opened 12/17 - you closed the petition after more than a day. That had to do with a known issue that we hoped to have resolved in an upcoming patch.
Petition opened 12/23 - closed by you after 1 hours and 17 minutes.
Petition opened 12/24 - This is the longest that a petition has been open, which was 4 days. Unfortunately queue times skyrocketed around that date. Your petition was addressed as soon as possible.

I can find no petitions submitted regarding harassment due to what language you speak.

Let me clarify so there isn't any confusion. Support for North American and Oceanic realms is provided in English, we are US based and that is the supported language. If we are contacted by someone who speaks another language we will do our best to help but that may not be possible.

We do not require English to be the spoken language though, as long as you are abiding by the Terms of Use otherwise you may speak whatever language you wish.

If you feel our policies should change or would like to see a separation on realms that may have a multi-lingual playerbase you are welcome to post in our Suggestion forum. Our developers and policy makers read that forum frequently, and take into consideration all suggestions, even if they are unable to directly reply to them.

Q u o t e:
I can see from what you have posted that you do not have all my tickets on there

I provided a sampling, Toobadnrdrag. Those are the more recent ones from this account on Warsong.

Q u o t e:
and I'm reporting you for posting private info on a public forum.

It is important when making threats to understand what it is you are threatening. I'm sorry, Toobadnrdrag, but I know what rules I need to follow very well and I provided no personal information.

I understand that it may not be a response that you wanted but I am here to provide what answers I can based on the posts I respond to. You made an erroneous statement regarding wait time and I needed to illustrate that you were exaggerating. I provided minimal information so you could recall which petitions I was referring to. I could have provided more and still been within policy.

I also needed to cover our stance regarding the issues you claim to be experiencing on your realm and specifically the issue of what spoken language is appropriate while in-game.

I apologize if the answer I provided confused or inconvenienced you in any way.

Please do not exaggerate queue times in an effort to make a point, Stabs, queue times are not at or even near a week.

If you believe there should be specific realms for players who speak a language other than English, you are welcome to post in the Suggestion forum. Those who would make that determination review that forum and can consider your request.

Though we do not require a specific language to be spoken we do require that players abide by the Terms of Use. If someone is using harassing or racial comments please use the petition system and report them.

Thank you all for your contributions in this thread.
