Drenden issues 01/18/10

I was on my mage, trying to search in AH for something, and the AH was stuck on "Searching..." I went to switch toons to mail some items over to my mage, and was dc'd. Now I can't log on any of my toons on Drenden, where other toons I have on other servers are fine. I get the character selection screen (on Drenden) I select the toon, the load bar goes to the end, and I get "You have been disconnected from the server."

I don't know if this was the same problems that people were having earlier this morning, but it seems to be simillar from what i saw in the forums.

Hello all!

I just wanted to let you know that our Technicians are well aware of the issues affecting Drenden, and we're working hard to restore the realm to its full functionality as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience as we work hard to do so! Should updates become available, I'll endeavor to provide them in this thread.

Good news everyone: it appears as though things are beginning to stabilize on Drenden. If you logged out and you are still unable to log in, please let us know.

Also, should your character happen to be stuck, you can submit an in-game petition from a different character on the same account, and a member of our staff will do their utmost to help as swiftly as possible!

When you submit such a petition, it's best to keep the following points in mind:
    • Always use the ‘Character Stuck’ button when you submit this kind of petition.
    • Include the word 'stuck' in your petition.
    • Include the name and realm of the stuck character.
    • Include where your character was before they got stuck
    • Mention whether you are stuck at the loading screen, are unable to remain in-game, are trapped on terrain, are unable to find your body, or fell ‘through the world’

Indeed and I'm sorry if it seems that I jumped the gun on announcing Drenden's stabilization. It appears that there was a clear window that has since closed. Our staff are continuing to monitor the situation as we speak, and as before I'll let you all know when I receive an update.

Discussion following the theme that there is some sort of conspiracy to make Drenden players sad will be considered trolling.

I don't want to make Drendeners sad. I like you guys, and I'm sorry that the realm wasn't available when I was told that it would be =(. We're working on it though, please don't lose heart!

Well, it seems that the resolution that was implemented did the trick!

I'd like to thank you all again for your patience while our staff worked to get Drenden running smoothly. We'll keep an eye on the situation, but for now, it looks like everything is back to normal.

I have returned, and it appears that there are still issues occurring with Drenden (as I'm sure you're all abundantly aware). I'll get back to you all as soon as possible with further information.
