Whisper with my real name

So I got a whisper last night from someone who I have never run with/played with/been part of a guild with, etc that asked me:

"hey, are you XXXXXXX"

and he actually knew my real name (in place of the X's)

i didnt answer and he never re-whispered.

just wondering if anyone has any idea how someone would have gotten my real name.

i do run a token so I am not worried about being hacked, but the fact that i dont even use my real name in Vent with my guild has me a bit concerned about account security as a whole.

I am uncertain how this player would have your name, Saldana, although my first thought would be that it is a friend (or a friend of a friend) who was simply given your characters name and was simply trying to contact you.
