Accounts with Authenticator's Hacked

I had my friend and my brother, both with Authenticator's on their account, get hacked today. My friend's character is naked, and my brother got an e-mail saying the account had been locked due to certain activity on the account and he still has his gear.

Has anyone else seen an account with an authenticator on it get hacked?

Is Blizzard aware of how this is being done.

The RSA I use at work only allows a key to be used once, this prevents logging and re-use of a key within the time a key is valid. I have heard this is not the case for Blizzard authenticators. Does Blizzard have plans to change this? Has the algorithm they use on these things been broken? It just blows my mind that even with an authenticator they can't play this game with any sort of assurance that their account is secure.
