Death’s Demise title denied

My story is similar to others who have posted here and eventually were awarded their title, one specific person that I am thinking of is from my own server, Tyraël of < Vox Radix >. I transferred to Darkspear in the beginning of November before attempts were made on Yogg+0. The GM of our guild had stated that we wouldn’t try Yogg until we had downed Anub'arak in heroic mode. I was there for that guild first kill. As we would start attempts we continued to try for the different skill achievements. I was there for the first Tribure to Skill. I was there for the first Tribute to Mad Skill. I will be there for a Tribute to Insanity. I was with my guild when we started Yogg+0 I was there for the hours, days, and weeks worth of wipes. I was present when we achieved the kill and the rest of my guild mates got their titles.

I did not get the title nor the feat of strength. I opened a ticket and explained my situation and why I deserved the title as much as those around me who got the achievement. After several days I got a response from a GM that did not explain what was going on, only a rehash of what I put in my ticket. I will also note that I was answered while I was not online so I didn’t get a chance to actually talk to anyone.

Yes you transferred in the beginning of November
Yes you were here less than the 60 days when the achievement was made
No we don’t’ grant the title if you haven’t been on the server 60 days.

I could understand not getting the achievement if no one else got it; I was the only one who didn’t. I could understand not getting the achievement if that was my first time attempting Yogg; others within the raid was with our guild for the first time who for the achievement. I did not transfer just to get the achievement but I did work very hard to contribute this very difficult kill. I am not going to transfer back to my original server now that that Yogg+0 is down.

At the bottom of the response there was an option to resubmit the issue. When I did, I lost the original test of the response, otherwise I would post it here; I wish I had saved it though I’m sure it’s still on file. The following was the gist of the response.

I responded saying that I wanted the ticket escalated and I wanted to talk to someone who could actually rule on my situation. I received the following email the next day:

Greetings ##My name##,

I have yet been able to talk to anyone about my situation. It appears to me that it is up to me to escalate this issue and bring it forward in the hopes of a speedy resolution. I am even more empowered in seeing that people in the same situation, that is they were the only one who didn’t get the achievement, eventually were vindicated and got their title. I hope that Blizzard will do the right thing and rectify this immediately. Thank you.
