Ghostcrawler,

I appreciate your work and effort to try to bridge the gap between players and developers, however some of your sarcastic comments do nothing but stir up a hornets nest. In the time it takes to come up with a snide remark, prior to locking a thread, you could at least attempt to address the questions/concerns of the OP.

For example, in the recent Elemental thread, all that was asked was to address the multiple threads concerning raiding Elementals. Instead of addressing the fairly tame thread, you post a sarcastic remark to a valid point, then lock the thread. The reason there are so many Elemental threads are because we feel nothing is being addressed.

A simple "We think Elementals are/aren't fine because...." The ToW suggestions wouldn't work because...." would suffice, and lead to more constructive posts.

We are paying customers, and when multiple customers point out a concern about a product, it's up to the company to explain to the customers why their concerns are either valid, or invalid.

Thanks,
Dimon

I'm a sarcastic guy. To some extent you're stuck with that if I'm going to be here posting. I'm not generally abusive or insulting to players though (despite some accusations to the contrary). Generally players say that when what they really mean is "I disagree with Blizzard's design direction but am powerless to change it."

Also remember that in general I'm not here to answer questions -- though we do a little of that -- but rather to participate in discussions. It should be pretty obvious by now that a standard GC initial response to a thread isn't designed to cut off the discussion but to spur it on.

The best discussions, IMO, come from trying to talk to all of the players participating, not just the devs. They also provide new information. Repeatedly posting about the same thing over and over of which you're pretty sure we're already aware might be slightly cathartic for you, but at the expense of being pretty annoying to everyone else.
