If you are not in the know on this issue, i will try and give a scenario to help you understand.
1. No enchanter in group, cloth item drops that is a big upgrade for me, i can only roll greed and hope to win it, and also hope there is not another caster class whose primary armor type is cloth in the group also. If there is no cloth wearer, we all greed roll and someone else wins the roll, i can now ask this person if they can trade me this item because it is an upgrade for me.
NOTE: #1 is a BEST CASE SCENARIO.
NOTE: #2 leather wearers cannot roll need on cloth, i assume everyone knows this, but it appears some people actually did not know this.
2. There is a enchanter in grp this time, this is really the huge problem for me. Say same cloth item drops, and it is again a large upgrade for me, except this time i do not have the option to hope there is a nice person in the group who wins the random greed roll, i am now stuck with a 20% chance of a greed roll ONLY. Because everyone in the group will now be rolling the Disenchant button. I have asked groups if they can pass on all cloth items they see, ive had like one PERSON out of a whole bunch of groups actually oblige my request, its not like i blame them either, they want there enchanting mats.
But i hope you guys can see my plight, i assume this is probably the worst for Druids too, because cloth is itemized so well for us plus the fact you see about 5x more cloth caster gear, as you do leather casting gear while running dungeons.
I have seen.....(educated guess) around 18 pieces of gear disenchanted or greed rolled and the person decides not to trade me the item (they would apparently rather vendor the item) in the last two days, which would have been all upgrades for me.
It is very frustrating getting the gearing up mindset of running heroics non-stop, when you come to the actualization that your only REAL means of upgrading is going to be through the badges you obtain, and the gear that actually drops from the bosses, is almost off limits.
I understand the reasoning for the new loot/need/greed system and armor types, but blizzard, you did NOT give the system enough thought.
