Japan hit by 8.9/Tsunamis

Huge earthquake hits japan with tsunamis hiting it right now.....alot of destrution fires flooding......:( poor people man.

if you Live in Hawaii please get to higher ground. its said tsunami's are going to hit there aroumd 2am!!

I haven't heard from my mom yet in Tokyo. I think it will take a lot more than a tsunami to kill her. She's one tough lady.

I did hear from my friend in Mito, and he's fine. Busted windows and no power, but he's fine.

If it helps, I have a friend in Tokyo who has checked in and has said that they weren't really hit though there is a degree of stocking up on food, bad traffic, and general concern (of course). There is some talk of potential power outages though. Best to you and I hope you hear from her soon.
