The Engineering Mount is a mini zeppelin.

Very simple.
Propeller planes cannot stay stationary, so that leaves either a copter or a mini zep.
My money is on the zep; if you go to area 52 you can see them in action by the local security.
Also copters are too factional, not to mention gnomish engineering isn’t exactly safe…
With the goblins being neutral and all mini zep are pretty open for all.

It's a Mechanostrider or Shredder Machine, with a 2 second parachute, and it just jumps really high!

Actually, a Flying Machine sounds a lot better, and safer, hmmm...

Q u o t e:
Since when was ANYTHING engineering considered "Safe"?

Well, these particular designs are being focused on safety. I'm pretty sure at least a few Engineers don't want their mount to randomly explode and leave them falling out of the sky and perishing at possibly unreachable locations and we agree with this.

By meeting the new standard safety regulations that are required in building a personal mount like this, you won't have to worry about these types of issues - but if you want to fall out of the sky, you are welcome to dismount whenever you want I guess, just make sure you have the parachute cloak ready!
