XP cap on WotLK trial?

Is there an XP cap on the WotLK trial?

And does hitting it cause you to be frequently disconnected from the server?

There is an experience cap right at the end of level 70 to make sure you do not hit 71 (in case you do not plan on upgrading) but this does not cause any sort of disconnects.
