Can't convert to Battlenet account

I am trying to reopen my other wow account to transfer a character. When I attempt to login with the old account it says that it needs to be converted a battlenet account. When I go to convert it to a battlenet account it says the account is already linked to a battlenet account. I know it isn't linked to the account I am on right now. I tried my old battlenet address (closed due to compromise) it says that the account is invalid.

Basically that account is in limbo right now. The character I am trying to access is Burrior and it is on the Korgath realm, if that helps. I tried to contact customer service but when I try to call the message says they are too busy to accept calls.

Are you saying your other account was merged to a Battle.net account that is not yours?

If so, giving Billing a ring really is your best and quickest option to getting that sorted out.
