Realm Maintenance 12/29/2009

Good Tuesday Morning CSF!

For the second week in a row - yes, in a ROW! - there is no maintenance scheduled at this time for today.

Now, please note - that COULD change in the next few hours, but at this time - we aren't expecting any.

Please do not let that deter you from making sure all your software, scanners, OS, etc are up-to-date and doing your normal maintenance on your own systems.

Thanks for the reports guys - on top of both, although I don't have an ETA at this time. Techs are aware and working on it.

There is no normal scheduled maintenance today - at least none that involves the realms being unavailable.

This just shows us that the "maintenance" they do usually every week is NOT necessary and really is a waste of our paid time. There is no reason they couldn't do maintenance like this indefinitely, and only bring the servers down as needed - probably once a month or less.

That isn't true at all, Kinigos. It all depends on what needs to be done.

We never keep realms unavailable for a minute longer than is absolutely necessary for whatever the task is at hand.

That is because Cenarius is having an issue at the moment, but they are working on it. I don't have an ETA yet, but I'm hopeful if things go well it won't be a lot longer.
