How long does pay by phone take to process

My gf tryed to sign up with the pay by phone feature. Its been over 24 hours since she did it and it is sitll pending and frozen and unable to use. How much longer is expected to wait?

She may wish to check her payment settings as it sounds as though payment did not successfully process. Normally you make the phone call right away, and the call back happens within 24 hours. You do have to successfully receive the call and authorize the charge for the subscription to set up. If both calls are not successful, the account will cancel out and go back to frozen, but you can then try again.

Odds are it was not able to verify the transaction when it went to finalize then. She should check to see if the phone number is still set up as the billing option. This would mean it is still pending and may process through, but it could also be pending to drop off if it could not finalize. If it has already dropped off and is fully frozen, she can try to add it again.
