Error with subscription renewal

I am posting this on behalf of a friend who is experiencing the problem described below and is unable to log in to his account and post here.

About a month ago, he cancelled his wow subscription and everything seemed fine and the game even told him that the last day of his game time was on 30 Nov. This month, after deciding to return, he tried to reactivate his account but he gets an "Unspecified error has occured" message after entering his billing details. Cancelling his subscription again doesn't seem to work too despite a message that says that the cancellation was is successful. His game status is now "frozen". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Billing will be able to figure out why he cannot reactivate his account.

That would be my recommendation as well.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) 8AM-8PM (PST) for live representation.

Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.

I would also recommend, if he hasn't tried it yet, to try an alternate browser. Sometimes these errors are experienced because of the browser used. So if you are using Internet Explorer try Firefox or vice versa.
