RaF problem

My friend had sent an email to me for RaF, and I signed up an account with that email. I clicked the "Click here to activate your free trial!" link, used the authentication key, but now it says the key is claimed and my account has not been activated/linked to his with RaF.

I called 3 times today and twice yesterday during business hours and didn't get connected to a representative because of how much phone traffic you were receiving. As long as 4 days ago, I opened a ticket in-game for help, and I still haven't received and email about my ticket. Last but not least, I used your Webform feature, but STILL, no response. Can i just get a RESPONSE, or even the ability to talk to someone? i just want my RaF activated.

If you are already logged into a Battl.Net account at the time of accepting a RaF link then by clicking on the link provided within the RaF e-mail it should have automatically created-and linked-a new WoW account, Diezel. Often times players that know each other outside of the game tend to do this on the same computer system, and end up with an alternate account linked to the account sending out the RaF invite.

If you give me the name and realm of a character on both the inviting account and the account it should be linked to, I would be more than happy to look into the situation further. :0)

Also, thanks for looking into this

My pleasure, mate.

I do not show your account being linked to any other via the RaF program, Diezel. However, I do see another account, registered to the same name that is on this account you are posting on, linked to the account Purewin is on. The Battle.Net account is under a different e-mail address, but it does appear to be linked. Since the account you are posting on has already been upgraded I would highly recommend trying to recover the alternate account, and contacting Billing and Account Services. They should be able to sort this situation out for you.

Due to the fact that a Billing representative is the only one that would have access to be able to link your current account, you would normally need to contact them, Diezel. I understand that their wait time is extremely high at this time, though, and would like to try and see this through for you. If you can get Purewin to come here and make a post for me, I can see if we can’t get Bheralrul to assist us with this-as he is a Billing rep and would have the ability to help us out. :0)

Thanks for the help, and I just texted Purewin and he is at work... if Billing doesn't contact me, can I come back tonight or tomorrow with Purewin? I will be frequently checking my email, so if billing tries to contact me I'll be sure not to take up both of ya

I'll be here until 11:00pm PST, Diezel. If you are not able to get Purewin here before then, I will return tomorrow at roughly 2:00pm, on Monday - I'll be happy to help you (or at least get all the information so that I can help you when a Billing rep is in) at any point I am in the office.

Can you have Purewin post, please?

Alright, Purewin, I need you to send a new RaF invite; once it has been sent return here and let me know. Diezel, be sure to leave this particular invite alone, do not click on the link, nor should you use the Authentication Key provided.

If you two are still logged into the game, then please re-log and try to use some of the RaF features – the quickest would probably be the summon feature.

Great news, Diezel! All seems to be right in the world….of Warcraft. Enjoy the RaF program, mate. :0)

Recruitable, it appears that this account that you are posting on, WoW1 is linked to another account on the same Battle.Net account-WoW2. If you use a character on WoW2 in conjunction with that of one on WoW1 you should see the benefits available to you. Was that not your intended target for the RaF program?

If it was not, please do not post account names, but rather, please provide me the name and realm of a character on both the intended veteran account and the intended new recruit account.

I couldn't have done it without Bheralrul, but I am glad that between the two of use we could get things sorted out for you two. :0)

Can you have the account that Trustfund is on send out another RaF invite, Recruitable? Once you have done that leave it be and return here to report; I'll see what we can do to help you out.

Done

Those two accounts should now be linked, Recruitable. Please log in for me and test this out. Since you now have an extra trial account tied to your Battle.Net account that is going unused, would you like me to remove it for you? If I do, this account will never again be accessible to you, and will go into the abyss of forgotten accounts.

It's much like an elephant graveyard.

Yes you can remove it for me. And I will log to test it.

Done and done; watch out for hyenas! Also, let me know if you are able to see the benefits from the RaF program, if you were still logged in when this was being done you may need to re-log.
