Thrall World Server Down Again

No, it isn't, Threa, Thrall isn't part of the Urgent Maintenance.

Our technicians are aware of the issues for that realm though and are working on bringing the realm back online. The overall issues that Thrall is experiencing is also very much known, there is a post in the Service Status forum any available updates will be posted there.

I've asked to see if that the thread can be updated. It may be that the only update we can provide is that we don't have any additional information but I'll see who I can poke to get some information. :)

That was my mistake, Pallyknight, we received a bunch of Urgent Maintence!?!?! threads and I didn't read that one carefully enough.

I'm afraid I don't have any specific information on what is the issue with the realm but from experience usually when there is a persistent issue it comes down to one or more hardware issues. In such cases the part or parts need to replaced, reworked, etc. . . . In some cases that is a fairly quick project in others it is a more time consuming ordeal. This of course is conjecture, as I don't have any specifics but it is a logical assumption based on what I have seen.

No, that is not what I said at all. These issues are addressed by our Technicians, as we am not part of that department but in fact part of In-Game Support we are not made aware of the particulars in many of these situations.

If we have any specific updates we will, of course, pass them along.

I have said it before but let me restate it for this thread.

Compensation for unexpected downtime is not generally provided until the overall issue has been addressed. If such a determination is made it will not be made by the In-Game Support staff (Game Master department). It is recommended that if you believe compensation is warranted that you post in the Suggestion forum with that request.

No responses are possible in that forum but our Developers and Community Managers review those threads and rely suggestions, requests and feedback that is posted there.

It is also important to note that it is highly unlikely that we will be offering Free Character Moves off of Thrall. Our goal is to resolve the ongoing issue, and we have never simply abandoned a realm.

It seemed to be behaving today. :(

It looks like it has recovered but I'll poke someone to see if something else is going on.

Behaving, as in, it has been up for several hours and looked to be doing Ok. I'm aware of what Thrall overall has been up to, I apologize if I gave the impression that I believed everything was perfectly fine.

As you know we are very much aware of what is happening with the realm and we hope to have the overall issue resolved as soon as it is possible. While we wait for the that overall issue to be resolved though our Technicians are doing what they can to keep the realm as stable as possible.

I will of course provide what information I can when I am given is but please check the following thread periodically, that will be updates whenever new information (i.e. hopefully an ETA) is obtained.
