While in random dgns I cannot need. why is this?

What items are you attempting to need on, Thornz? As the others have stated you will only have that option for items that you qualify for. This means that as a Druid you will only be able to Need on items of Leather.

If you came across a particular item that you did qualify for but did not receive the Need option for I'd ask that you post the information in the Bug Report forum. If you believe changed need to be made to the Need before Greed system you are always welcome to provide feedback in our Suggestion forum.
