Need-Greed-DE has to go

Just lost a needle encrusted scorpion.

Tank needs since he wants greed. He says, no problems - dps just reroll. I was second highest roll below the tank, but lost the reroll.

Bottom line, people shouldn't have to need for offspec and then manually reroll to distribute loot. This is why we have an automated system in the first place.

Edit: Posted wrong toon. I was playing my rogue at the time. I do need armor pen.

I know in the past the general rule was to roll need for main spec, greed for offspec, and then pass for the disenchant. With the new system it works a little differently in my play experience. Now my groups tend to roll need on anything that is a main spec or offspec upgrade, then greed/disenchant if you have no use for the item. If anybody really wants the item they speak up on it and we work it out from there.

What battlegroup do you play in? I want to realm transfer my unguilded characters there.

In the groups I've been in the discussions rarely come up as the people I've been with are mainly wanting to move quickly. Anybody who spoke up beforehand and the item was not contested was able to get it. Granted this has only happened twice but it did happen.

Where I play shall remain a mystery.
