As the title suggests I've been waiting 8 days over a week to get a restore back, while someone who I know whom got hacked almost at the exact same time as me(a day before I did) has gotten a restore about 3 days ago the shnell. :( It's the waiting is killing me.

And yes I just love to complain it lets me focus my frustration, before my mind get distracted by other things like food..damn I"m hungry...see?!

That seems odd, Astropanda, mind giving me the name of the character that supposedly received their restoration?
Q u o t e:

On a lighter note the guy who hacked my account added an Authenticator so when i first logged on that night i had the Core Hound Pup,* however i logged out to run some more spyware junk ect. and when i logged back on the Core hound Pup was gone...sure fixed that fast.

The Corehound is automatically removed when you remove the Authenticator, Thief, no one actually went in manually and removed the pet.
Q u o t e:

you're complaining about 8 days? It's been 2 weeks today since my ticket has been answered and I still haven't gotten my stuff.

Not quite two weeks yet, Crimsonjoy, as I believe I have already indicated, from start to finish compromise investigations are taking between 7-14 days.
Q u o t e:

I simply think it will be quicker to just relevel than wait 15 days to get my character restored and that's what I'll do. Thanks anyway.

That would depend on how fast you level but it would be awfully silly to remove your request for assistance, Slipenslide. Though queue times are currently rather lengthy we are working to each and every issue as quickly as we can and eventually reduce the overall response times.

after rereading some of the edits ... I'll be nice too ...

Thank you all. :)

I was talking to Thíef, which is why I quoted his post before my response. :)

Faedra is the name of the Kil'jaeden realm same guild as me.

Much of Faedra's case revolved around some unauthorized transfers. Regardless though the cases were reported at different times. Faedra's compromise was reported almost two full days before you reported yours.

Please also remember that these times fluctuate based on the number of requests are have plus the complexity of the individual cases.

Hang in there, Astropanda, your investigation should be completed within the next day or so.

Ah, well. Thank you very much anyway.~ what about the core hound pup I still have? Is that gonna be removed when it's all resolved. I'm going to buy an authenticator anyway, if you guys at Blizzard let me. >_> Apparently I can't buy one at this time!

If the Authenticator that was attached during the compromise has already been removed the pup should have gone as well. O.o Perhaps it will take a little while to properly update.

Once you have one of your own though you should have regain the Corehound pup.

They should still be available,if you have a compatible device you may look into picking up the mobile authenticator.

Good luck, Astropanda.

Yea, i got MY :) Authenticator the other day and after i logged in i had the Pup (in-bag) had to re-learn.

...Is my Authenticator a Super, Indestructable Snuggie of Justice for all my WoW gaming?

Hehe, if you are asking will he watch over the account he's attached to - yes, yes he will.

Get an Authenticator! Take a bite (or two) out of crime!
