Can't Create a Blood Elf.

I have installed the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack which was the latest following the Burning Crusades expansion pack.

Why am I not able to create a Blood Elf?

Does the Burning Crusades have areas that are unaccessible to the Lich King expansion?

Just would like to know why.

You may have installed both The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, Marrennik, but you still have yet to upgrade your account to either of these expansions. You'll need both the software and an upgraded account to access TBC- and WotLK-specific content. :)
