I have a problem with having the side objective list under the map show up. It used to be there...but for some reason it doesn't show up anymore. I tried to fart around to get it back up, but I have no clue how. The little arrow button that's usually there to hide it...isn't there anymore either.

I'd recommend starting with a full UI reset, Chow. That should put back all the defaults.
To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.
Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.
Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.
