Wrong item selcted from Battered Hilt - Help!

Hey Blizzard employee,

Hello, Sigh; I have made a mistake.. when looking at the quest reward from the battered hilt I was crtl + clicking them just to see as to what they looked like; but I seem to have failed at doing so >< I accidentally got the 2h wep which is primarily used for tanking when I was really wanting to get the purified flame 1h healing mace. Pleeeease can I be reimbursed with this wep? I spent a lot of time and effort in this. Besides, I'm a resto shaman and have no use for the 2h mace. If possible please help me get this sorted out, I have put in an in-game petition as well but would just like to know this is possible first :( Thank you

As the others indicated, Inanity, though we are unable to guarantee assistance this is something that we may be able to do for you.

In your petition make sure you include the name of the item that you received and which weapon you want to exchange it for. Your petition will likely need to escalated to a Character Specialist for assistance so make sure you do not close your petition until it is addressed.

This may take several days but our staff will get to you as quickly as possible.

I am unaware of a staff option, Tarinny. Are you certain your friend did not obtain this staff elsewhere?
