Hello,

Posted this in another forum a couple of days ago and haven't gotten a response yet. Also, you guys aren't taking any calls right now (or for the last 2 days),...

Bought my girlfriend WoW, sent her the trial email from Refer-A-Friend, she followed the links on her e-mail to set up the account and upgraded from trial to WoTLK.

Today she is still a "trial" account. She can't accept a ginvite, and our accounts are not linked so I can't level with her the way we wanted to level. It's kind of killing it for her when I told her how great the game would be....

HELP!

As a few players have already mentioned, Blïnk, it will normally take between 24 to 72 hours for an online upgrade request to fully process, and for all trial restrictions to be removed from the account. Your girlfriend should receive an email notification once the upgrade has completed successfully, and all remaining trial restrictions should be automatically lifted at that time.

In regards to your second concern, it does not appear that the Recruit a Friend invitation that you issued a few days ago was ever used to establish an account. Therefore, we may need to have your girlfriend contact our Billing department by phone for assistance with establishing a Recruit a Friend link between the 2 accounts in question.

I apologize if you have had difficulty with getting through to us previously. We are currently experiencing a very large volume of calls, and while we are eager to help all of our players as quickly as possible, there is a limit to the number of people we can have on hold at once.
