I apologize first off if this is the incorrect medium to pursue this problem. Recently a friend of mine invited me to play WoW with him. After the trial period expired, I decided that I would upgrade to a full account and purchase the game. This previous Thursday, I purchased, downloaded and installed both the original version and the Burning Crusade expansion. After I patched the download, I attempted to sign on and continue to play. However, after I logged on I was prompted to merge this account into a battlenet account (which it already is). I followed the link and it brought me to a link where I was to select my location and input my account name and password. After inputing this information I am told that my account name is invalid.
I have tried several variations to this information, but nothing works. I sent an email to Blizzards support, as well as billing on both that Thursday and today, but have yet to receive a response from either. I have also attempted to call the support line, but after an hour or so waiting I gave up.
The automated system suggested several thing, but nothing has worked. Does anybody have a suggestion as to what would work or should I simply continue to wait for a response from Blizzards support?
