Friend's WoW 7 Days Free Offer Problem

Hi, I was wondering if any of you had this issue that my friend is having.
He got the WoW 7 days free offer for the 4th anniversary and that doesn't expire until Jan 1 2010. He wanted to save it for Christmas break but now he can't find the offer anymore.
He still has the e-mail from Blizzard but after clicking on the "Claim" button and logging in, it just goes to the account management page and there's no button to claim the 7 days anywhere.

What has happened? Would a GM be able look to see if he still has the 7 days offer on his account? His character is Warlockpwns on Dark Iron.

Thanks,

The 7 day promotion e-mail would go out to an e-mail registered to any account that was inactive before a certain period. It is very possible that your friend received the 7 day request for another account, so when he attempts to claim it on the account he wants, it is redirecting him because that specific account is not eligible.

I would not be able to discuss the specifics of his account with you, but if he is curious, he can e-mail [email protected] or call the Billing department directly to review his account. For his own investigation, he can check the last date his account was active. Accounts had to be inactive as of October 16th, 2009 to qualify. If the account he wants to add the 7 days to was active during that time period, it would not be eligible.
