Axe Skill Lvl Problem?

I see the issue. The Tyrannical Beheader is a Two-Handed Axe, whereas the skill you are watching is Axes - which pertains to One-Handed Axes. Your Two-Handed Axes skill rests at a proud and mighty 400 though, which is likely why you've not seen any skill increases while using this weapon.
So, you may want to try acquiring a One-Handed Axe and see if using that increases your Axes skill!
