Question about Character Name Change/Swapping

Hi CSR Forum GMs!

I have a question for you. I have two characters on the primary realm I play on, Kil'Jaeden, that I'd like to swap the names on. My understanding is, when doing a paid name change, the old name is locked for 90 days. However, seeing as the name I want to swap to my higher level character is a pretty cool name, I really don't want to run the risk of losing the name. Nor do I want to delete the lower level character who has the name I want, as he was an old level 19 twink of mine that I put a lot of time and effort into.

Basically, say we have Bob the rogue, and Joe the hunter. I want to swap Bob's name to Joe, and Joe's name to bob. However, under current naming restrictions, with the 90 day lock, I'm not sure if I can do this.

Is this something I can call in to the account services team to maybe have happen? I don't mind paying for two name changes, and since its an odd case, maybe they can help?

Thanks in Advance!

Cynd.

Thanks for the reply. I was just trying to also confirm if names are completely locked for 90 days after a name change, or if the account who completed the name change can still use that name, even within the 90 days.

Thanks.

Right now, it's totally locked for 90 days - and I can certainly appreciate someone in this position being hesitant about potentially having a name snapped up.

You might want to present this over in our Suggestion Forum - I know the subject has come up from time to time.
