Ammo stacks in AH - scam?

With new ammo coming out, a common practice is to list stacks of 100 at approximately the same cost as 1000, hoping that observant players come along and buy the ultra-expensive ammo.

My question is, is this a "scam" under Blizzard's policies, or simply a case of "buyer beware"?

The latter, Siantha. In the end, simply knowing how to control or play an economy does not mean you are necessarily exploiting it.

What it breaks down to is this: Players are welcome to sell items they acquire legitimately on the Auction House in whatever fashion, at whatever price they choose, provided that they do not use third-party automation software (or some other form of exploitation) to do so. Similarly, players who browse available item listings may opt to purchase or not purchase them at their discretion.

It's always good to practice caution, though, and double-check price listings before committing to a purchase. :)
