"Payment Pending" Account frozen!

I'm posting on my wife's account which I pay for with the same card as my account.

I tried posting on my account earlier today, and couldn't figure out why all my characters were showing up as gray on the Select Character screen until I went to account management and saw that my account had been frozen. On the payment history screen, it shows that the payment is pending. I've never had this problem before, and I've been paying for this game for going on five years now. I checked with online banking and it doesn't show the payment pending at all. Usually, this transaction is instant, as far as I know. I even matched up the dates payed with the dates I was billed and they all matched up.

I just got off of work and was planning on ejoying a nice evening playing WoW with my wife, but I guess now my plans will change.

Help me please.

Q u o t e:

It's not account sharing if I pay for both accounts! ;P Besides, if she and I share a bank account I'm pretty sure it's ok if I post on the wow forums with her character.

Paying for another players account does not entitle that person to play on the account. Even between siblings and spouses, account sharing is not currently permitted. While I understand the need to post on the forums with your questions, please do your best to abide, I know you are not meaning any harm by it :)

But to your advice: I actually haven't tried logging in yet. I saw that my account is frozen and assumed that I couldn't. I will check that out and let you know.

It is very possible you will be able to log in, but not a guarantee. During the pending period forum restrictions do come into play, and gameplay is often not affected, but there is a chance if the charge is taking quite some time to process that ingame access may be lost until the funds are successfully transfered. I do apologize for any confusion, and like you noted, you had played for years without seeing this. Transactions are normally quick, but sometimes they can take a bit of time so I do thank you in advance for your patience while we wait for that to go through!
