Are petition wait times long?

It's been 3 days since I opened a ticket, all my items are deleted and I can't even play this game until a GM responds and restores my items for me.

For the past 3 days I've been doing nothing but STARING at my screen for GM to respond so I CAN PLAY THE GAME.

Drak'tharon, Horde, Sade RESPOND PLEASE.

I understand how frustrating that your situation probably is, but hyperbole and misrepresentation will not allow us to help you any faster.

You submitted a petition yesterday, but you closed it before a member of our staff was able to respond. When you did so, it took you out of the petition queue. Your latest petition has only been open a few hours, not three days.

Now that this petition is open, and names the affected character, please leave it open until a member of our staff is in a position to reach you and investigate the possibilities for restoration. Even if you are logged out, our staff are still able to respond. Unfortunately, queue times are rather high at the moment, so it is likely to take some time before you receive a response. This might be a good time to work on an alternate character or practice trade skills while you're waiting.

You realize that he can see your entire petition history? On any character on any account?

Actually, he is quite correct on that count T-Wulf. Due to the information I had available it appeared to be closed, but that was not the case, and I did not see that the more recent petition was opened while leaving the original intact.

That was entirely my oversight, and I humbly apologize for that. Still, the original petition was not opened three days ago - and was in fact opened on December 14th at 06:23 GMT.

The important part is that the wait time has already been far longer than we would like - but there are players that have already been waiting in queue that merit attention and we're getting to everyone as quickly as we can. It is fortunate that the petition was not closed, though, as that shortens the potential wait considerably.

With Mal? Seldom happens, and he's been reading this , and knowing him, he went back and double checked himself. He tends to make REAL certain before he makes public statements.

Normally it's true =(. *sigh*

Count this as one of the seldoms.

I think that's enough.

I understand that there was a conflict of personalities and information in this thread, and that I'm at least partially responsible for that.

There was, however, no call to derail the thread for the purposes of calling out individuals. I am locking the thread, as I believe that Sade has the appropriate information now.

I once again deeply apologize for my oversight. Feedback can be provided here, via email: wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com.
