As your fellow posters have noted, Sanehouse, your mailbox can only
display up to 50 mail items at a timeābut it can hold much, much more than that.
Once your mailbox reaches 50 mail items, it'll start "pushing" your older mail, one-by-one into a sort of overflow. You won't be able to see or access any mail in the overflow, but it'll still be there and the mail's expiry date will remain the same. As you clear out the mails in your mailbox, older mail will then begin to filter back in.
So, if you ever find that your mailbox is full, but you can't find a certain item, go ahead and just start pulling the mail in your mailbox out. You may find that the "missing" mail item was just hiding in your mailbox's overflow. :)
