Edit: Didn't see the Blizzard poster there. I have the option to cancel. Do you recommend I use it and maybe try the transfer again?
More edit: I have used the cancel button, and it seems to have canceled as it would normally. When I go back into the character transfer option, the average wait time is still 1 day.
I really hope I didn't kick myself out of the queue.. I wouldn't want to wait another 14+ hours for this.

i did see the cancel option and i did cancel, i made a thread about it a few minutes ago.
whilst i was awaiting confirmation my character was not locked, i was able to log onto to him and everything.......dont know if this helps.

I hate to be condescending on you Orlyia. But if I cancel my Xfer. I'll be stuck waiting for my bank to Pend the original charge. Then pend again for me canceling. Leaving my 25 Bucks floating in MIdair. I've had troubles like this in the past with the way banks handle money (Not with Blizzard mind you, but similar predicaments) and I don't want that much money of mine just disappearing and having the bank calling me to make sure that 25$ even existed in the first place.
Is there anything you can tell me and the rest of the Server/Faction and Name xfer customers that will put some ease on us? We don't all have credit cards. Some of us have to buy them debit cards.

I've been waiting to switch servers and factions so I can play with a very close friend. And I might not have much time left alive. I have a dangerous hernial surgery coming up and I'd really enjoy being able to play with her a few more times in case anything happens.

I canceled and redid the application as well. I got a confirmation of cancellation in my email. And now I'm waiting on the pending. I appreciate your help Orlyia, and hope that my account will be xferred by midmorning as you suggested.
If not. I'll just wait. And I'll take your advice and log into Skisk before I attempt to faction change. I do hate having to make blizz work harder by overlooking simple things like logging in to refresh the character cache so that fuzzed up data messes up information transferring.
One question, that I'm not sure is on subject. But when I change Skisk into a Draenai warrior. Will I have to redo my Sunreaver Reputation all over again?

I'm having a similar issue. I'm trying migrate a toon from illidain H to Agamaggan H and every time i hit submit on the "confirm" page I get the message "An error has occurred." With nothing following, i've been logged out of the toon for an hour, his AH and mail are both clear. With no guidance as to why the error has occurred, i'm feeling a little lost...

I cancelled went back into my account and deleted the alliance quests i had made sure no mail ect, resubmitted. I will report back with the faction change on my warrior Outlaw and let you know

I am having this same issue. My first attempt my debit card was charged the 25 dollars but my character never locked and it was 100% useless. I then read this thread canceled my transfer and re-did it and the character didn't lock and my card wasn't even charged.
I'm guessing I will have to call billing in the morning.
