Charllie, while I personally agree that the conversation could have been a bit more positive on both ends, the answer that the Game Master provided you was correct. Generally speaking, we do not provide Guild Name Changes as a service. What you received in the past was a special exception, and such special exceptions, if appropriate and approved, are usually not repeated. Allowing them to be done repeatedly no longer makes them special exceptions.
The policy that the Game Master was referring does not appear to be posted publicly at this time - this is a seperate issue that I'll be addressing with the appropriate parties, as our stance regarding Guild Name Changes should be accessible. For that, you have my apologies.
The GM told me to express my concerns and I'm doing so now.
You are most welcome to express your concerns - however, what we mean by that is to provide constructive feedback regarding a situation rather than to provide the information a passively inflammatory way. Now, I understand that that was likely not your intention - that's why I've locked this thread rather than deleted it, as there is some valuable feedback in your original post.
