Does Blizzard EVER stress test their patches?

I mean, the fact that "it's patch day" has become an excuse for horrid lag and features that break due to heavy use is pathetic. Maybe Blizzard could learn from their past mistakes and not release a feature until it's been stress tested with thousands of people concurrently?

We absolutely do, however a stress test on two test realms with thousands of people cannot fully account for any possible issue that might arise when the same features are applied to thousands of servers housing millions of players. Rest assured we're looking to address the realm and instance instability issues players are experiencing tonight as quickly as possible. :)

lol this can be loosely translated as

"we are waiting for ppl to logout,"

That's not entirely accurate. We have a few fixes we're implementing with off-peak realm restarts which should help address the issue.

I've been really trying to experience the Dungeon Finder capabilities myself since I've been home and have been saddened by these issues as well. We will continue working through the morning to get things more stable. It's what we do and we appreciate your understanding even through your frustration. :)
