Battered Hilt Race Problem

I recently purchased a Battered Hilt and was going to start the quest line but instead I received an error message that "That quest is not available to your race." Since there is no visible reason that it shouldn't work for every race I'm wondering if this is an error that is going to be resolved in the near future. Thanks!

We are aware that players can acquire the opposing faction's version of the Battered Hilt via the Auction House, and we are currently investigating this further. In the meantime, please feel free to open an in-game petition regarding this issue to notify the Game Master staff of this purchase, and we'll look into the possibility of reversing the transaction, though I cannot offer any guarantees.

This is definitely something we'll look into once you've opened an in-game petition, Kiaeneto. I encourage you to open a petition at your earliest convenience.
