ICC Gunship Battle Loot Issue

My appologies if this was covered prior.

Several of our party ended up doing a jump right when the enemy ship got destroyed and went down. Those party members were not able to get any loot from the encounter, even though they were present for the "kill".

Is this a situation that can be resolved through an in-game ticket (i.e. have the person who looted the item ticket a GM, explain what happened, and request the item be transfered to the proper player)?

Is this a known issue?

And more importantly is there a fix to make sure something like this doesn't happen again?

Thank you in advance for any information on this subject.

Indeed, and it would be appropriate for a Master Looter or raid leader to submit an in-game petition to ensure that loot is distributed normally. If the item was assigned to a player temporarily, then that player should submit the in-game petition. In either case, it is best to describe the circumstances and provide the precise name of the intended recipient.

We are aware of some issues with the Gunship Battle encounter, and we're investigating them for resolution as we speak. I am not currently aware of any specific workarounds to prevent these issues though.

I hope that this hasn't soured the encounter for you guys, and we'll continue to work to ensure that the encounters in Ice Crown Citadel remain as epic and amazing as possible.
