Chat and Mail privileges suspended question.

Hello, today upon signing into my account, when trying to send mail, I received the message:

"Your chat and mail privileges have been temporarily suspended, pending Game Master review."

I was wondering how long I can expect to have this "suspension."

Do GM's actually respond to a petition when in this status or does it have to run its course?

How does one get placed into this status?

Is it possible this could be related to my AH presence? I am one of the most purchased from sellers on my server, only 2nd to a KNOWN botter but wow doesn't do anything about, but still, if they suspect I am making too much money, do they suspend you for that? Its ALL I have done the last 6 months while in school, just the AH.

I admit, I can get angry in a BG, but who doesn't on the alliance side? But I haven't pvp'ed in a while is whats strange, and its the only place I call people scrubs and such if they're afk or something. But that was some time ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the ticket system is "Experiencing higher than normal wait times." Thanks.

Your chat and mail privileges would not have been suspended based off of your auction house transaction history, Bonekite. If you announce sales in the trade channels, then it may have to do with that, but not the sales themselves.

When looking this character, Bonekite, up, I was unable to find the action you mention. I won’t be able to provide too much information on the forums, but if you would like to give me the name and realm of the character affected by this, I would be willing to look into this a bit further. If at all possible I will clarify anything I am able to.

Auryk, the original post is from December. Don't think he's coming back >.<

Thanks, Bullchanon, I totally missed that, that might explain why there is no current action on the OP, though. >.<

This post is several months old, Deathicide - it's better to create your own posts if you have a question or need some advice. >^.^< Also make sure you sort topics by Recent Reply to make sure you're responding to currently active topics.

It sounds more like you unfortunately received what is called a phishing e-mail, especially if you received no notification of how long your suspension was supposed to be. I see here that your account has been suspended twice in the past couple of days for spamming, and I suspect that may be an unauthorized party using your account for advertising. =\

You'll want to review the below information and secure your computer and account as soon as possible. In the mean time, I'm going to lock this thread as it's quite old and it really shouldn't be bumped again. ;)
