Ho ho ho! And a happy Winterv.....errr, maintenance day to everyone! It's another glorious week and a wonderful Tuesday in Azeroth.

Please do remember that "approximately" = "estimate," and that realms may return a bit earlier or later by definition. Also, it's important to note that all time zones are provided in PST (Pacific Standard Time). If you do not live on the West coast of North America, please be sure to adjust these times accordingly.

This is always a great day to make sure that all of your computer security systems are up-to-date—that your OS updates are complete, that you run weekly malware scans, etc. I know both Windows and Adobe had updates this week, so please make sure that you check these yourself to protect against vulnerabilities!

If you haven't acquired a Blizzard Authenticator or a Mobile Authenticator—what are you waiting for? They're an excellent method of safeguarding your account against compromise, and they also make excellent stocking stuffers, too! There is an adorable little Corehound just waiting to stand guard over your precious characters. (And yes, for those that haven't yet received theirs, that is still being looked into).

Get an authenticator folks! Take a bite (or two) out of crime!





(PS - Web services such as paid character services (PCTs, CRCs, etc), the main website, and this forum may be unavailable for periods of time during maintenance today as well.)

Really guys, I am sorry about that - but Tuesday is always some kind of maintenance. We've had a Service Status post up for quite some time.

Web had a few issues earlier - and the breaking news is tied into that. They most likely couldn't access the area they needed to - to get that posted.

Very sorry about that. This is a weekly thing. Just check here - or the Service Status Forum on a Tuesday if a note isn't up - or ask :)

Realms are slowly coming online at this time. Please note that this is a staggered process and that not all realms may be immediately available.

Battle.net Account Management is also currently experiencing some login issues. This may affect you in several ways: being unable to log into our forums, for example, or into your Battle.net Account Management page. We're working to bring this login back up as soon as possible so you can browse our forums and manage your accounts without delay.

Are you only experiencing issues logging into the game client? Can you log into your Battle.net Account Management page without issue?
